I took this picture on 02/28/05 when I was driving down to Juneau. It was taken in the middle of the day, but that far north, the sun doesn't rise very far.
In the middle of the picture, there is a lens cloud in the mountian range. It forms where air is being lifted by a vortex formed by the mountains. --------------------------------------- This post was updated to reflect the crop I used for printing. It's 3:2 instead of 4:3.

• Great photo which I think would work even better if cropped tighter at the top to make a panorama. Maybe so much so there's just a little space left above the tree on the left. Great colours.
